Smoothie bowl

Ingredients for the Smoothie:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 2 teaspoons protein powder (hemp, pea, or other)
  • 1 teaspoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

 

Toppings:

  • Hulled hemp seeds
  • Cacao nibs
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Coconut yogurt

 

Instructions:

  1. Preparing the Smoothie:

    1. Add the almond milk, banana, frozen blueberries, raspberries, protein powder, almond butter, maca powder, and lemon juice to a blender.
    2. Blend on high speed until you get a smooth and creamy mixture.
    3. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a bit more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  2. Preparing the Bowl:

    1. Pour the smoothie into a bowl.
    2. Top with hulled hemp seeds, cacao nibs, fresh raspberries, and blueberries.
    3. Add a few spoonfuls of coconut yogurt for extra creaminess and flavor.
  3. Serving:

    • Serve the smoothie bowl immediately to keep it fresh and cold. Enjoy this delicious and nutritious meal!

 

Tips:

  • For even more nutrition, you can add some superfoods like chia seeds, spirulina, or flaxseeds.
  • If you don't have hemp or pea protein powder, you can use any other protein powder of your choice.
  • Frozen fruit contributes to a cold and thick texture for the smoothie, but you can replace it with fresh fruit if desired.
