Vitamin drink for immunity

The drink combines the power of natural ingredients like fresh pineapple, oranges, lemon, ginger, and turmeric to create a true vitamin cocktail.

Additionally, the inclusion of cayenne pepper and black pepper enhances turmeric absorption, while coconut oil aids in better nutrient uptake. Bee pollen and honey enrich the drink with antioxidants and a pleasant sweetness. Adjust the quantities to your taste, especially when using ginger and turmeric, as they are strong and aromatic. Be cautious when peeling and cutting turmeric, as its yellow color can be difficult to remove from surfaces and hands.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple (cut into chunks)
  • 2 freshly squeezed oranges (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger root
  • 1-inch piece of fresh turmeric root
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)
  • 4 red peppercorns
  • 2 tsp bee pollen
  • 2 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (for better nutrient absorption)
  • 1 cup water, or enough to cover all ingredients in the blender

Instructions:

Preparation:

  • Peel and cut the pineapple into chunks.
  • Freshly squeeze the juice from the oranges and lemon.
  • Peel and cut the ginger and turmeric into smaller pieces. If you have a high-powered blender, peeling and cutting may not be necessary.
  • Prepare the remaining ingredients: cayenne pepper, black pepper, red peppercorns, bee pollen, honey (optional), and coconut oil.

Blending:

  • Add the pineapple chunks, orange juice, and lemon juice to the blender. Add water as needed to cover the ingredients.
  • Add the ginger, turmeric, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and red peppercorns.
  • Add 2 teaspoons of bee pollen, honey (if you prefer a sweeter drink), and coconut oil.
  • Blend all ingredients at high speed until smooth and well-combined.
  • If the drink is too thick, add a little more water and blend again.

Straining (Optional):

  • If you prefer a smooth juice without pulp, strain the drink through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
